Why Join brighthush as a Remote Customer Success Executive?
At brighthush, we believe that customer success is the engine of sustainable growth. Our Customer Success Executives are the trusted advisors who guide our most strategic accounts through the entire lifecycle—from initial engagement to renewal and expansion. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment, enjoy building relationships with C‑suite leaders, and are passionate about turning data into actionable insights, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deep Business Insight: Immerse yourself in each customer’s business model, organizational structure, pain points, and technology priorities across all business units and affiliates. Translate this knowledge into a strategic roadmap that aligns with their long‑term goals.
- Executive Relationship Building: Cultivate long‑term, value‑based relationships with executive sponsors and decision makers. Your influence should span across functional leaders, ensuring that brighthush’s solutions are embedded in their core operations.
- Customer Success Planning: Own the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive customer success plan. Define clear milestones, assign owners, and set measurable outcomes that drive adoption and value realization.
- Health Monitoring & Risk Management: Continuously monitor customer health using a blend of usage metrics, adoption rates, service levels, billing patterns, and contract indicators. Identify early warning signs and surface risks before they become critical.
- Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Chair QBRs and business reviews. Set the agenda, drive decision‑making, and own the action log to closure. Collaborate with Commercial Support to prepare insightful materials that showcase value and opportunities.
- Cross‑Functional Improvement Programs: Lead improvement initiatives by defining scope, coordinating cross‑functional teams, tracking progress, and mitigating risks. Ensure that each program delivers tangible business outcomes.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring that commitments are met and gaps are flagged early. Protect margin by governing concessions and writedowns.
- Escalation Advocacy: Act as the advocate for the customer, triaging escalations, routing them to the appropriate owner, and tracking them to closure. When no owner exists, document the issue rather than absorbing it.
- Expectation Alignment: Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Support to set realistic expectations and ensure that solutions are deployed as promised.
- Renewal & Migration Ownership: Own the renewal strategy and execution, aligning it with customer priorities and roadmaps. Lead migration planning to move legacy services to modern brighthush solutions.
- Business Case Development: Build quantified business cases that tie technology investments to cost savings, resiliency, performance, and growth objectives.
- Expansion Identification: Spot expansion opportunities, build compelling cases, and hand them over to Sales and Solution Engineering for pursuit.
- Product & Portal Adoption: Assess adoption of product and portal features, remove barriers, and enable self‑service capabilities for customers.
- Data‑Driven Insight: Leverage consumption data to spot under‑utilization, anticipate revenue risk, and inform renewal and migration strategies.
- Automation & AI Utilization: Employ AI tools, agents, and automated workflows for research, reporting, follow‑through, and risk tracking. Validate outputs and apply judgment to ensure accuracy.
- Process Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and route transactional requests to Commercial Support and DLM, freeing up time for high‑value activities.
- CRM & Forecast Accuracy: Keep CRM records, stakeholder maps, renewal dates, risks, and forecasts accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Feedback Loop: Convert customer feedback into actionable insights for product, delivery, and operations teams.
