[Remote] Data Analyst

The role focuses on practical reporting, data accuracy, stakeholder collaboration, and improving routine reporting and data collection processes.

Responsibilities

• Use basic SQL queries or comparable tools to answer specific business questions
• Work with stakeholders to clarify definitions and reporting expectations
• Prepare simple trend comparisons and periodic performance summaries
• Explain key observations and limitations in clear, accessible language
• Help improve routine reporting templates and data collection processes
• Protect sensitive business data under established access procedures
• Collect and combine information from approved reports and source systems

Skills

• Practical experience with Excel or another spreadsheet application
• Careful, logical approach to investigating inconsistencies
• Comfort collaborating with teammates in a remote environment
• Comfort interpreting charts, tables, and basic performance metrics
• Organized documentation and version-control habits
