[Remote] Data Analytics & Engineering - Data Analyst III

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pyramid Consulting is recruiting for a Data Analyst III role on behalf of an unnamed client. The role supports data-driven marketing decisions by building reporting and dashboards, optimizing ETL processes, analyzing data, and resolving data integrity issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and analytics teams to define data and metrics requirements
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decisions
• Build and optimize ETL processes to support marketing campaigns at scale
• Write high-quality SQL queries to analyze data from various database systems
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and resolve data integrity issues across reporting and data infrastructure

Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.)
• Proficiency in building and operating distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing
• Experience in ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy) and report automation
• Strong skills in Python and R
• Ability to self-manage projects and set expectations
• BA or BS degree in a STEM field
• Experience in AI-centric organizations or using AI tools
• Proven track record of building data pipelines and working with large datasets
• Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication
