Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Talent Groups is seeking a Data Engineering Business Analyst with healthcare domain knowledge. The role supports data warehouse and ETL/ELT projects through requirements gathering, SQL-based data analysis and validation, and collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Perform SQL-based data profiling, mapping, reconciliation, and validation
- Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence
- Support SIT, UAT, stakeholder discussions, and defect resolution
Skills
- Strong healthcare domain knowledge
- SQL expertise
- Experience in data warehouse and ETL/ELT projects
- Gather requirements and prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Perform SQL-based data profiling, mapping, reconciliation, and validation
- Understand ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and Snowflake
- Work with healthcare payer/provider data, including Claims, Membership, Eligibility, Providers, and Encounters
- Understand EDI X12 transactions: 834, 837, 835, 270/271
- Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence
- Support SIT, UAT, stakeholder discussions, and defect resolution
