SoTalent is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure automation across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, and reliable platform delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform across cloud and hybrid environments
- Develop reusable Terraform modules, templates, and automation frameworks to standardize infrastructure deployment
- Drive the adoption of infrastructure best practices and consistent delivery methodologies across engineering teams
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and configuration management
- Implement policy-as-code controls to ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are consistently enforced
- Strengthen and optimize deployment pipelines through automation, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable platform solutions
- Support cloud networking, security configurations, and infrastructure architecture initiatives
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, automation, and deployment issues across development, test, and production environments
- Develop automation tooling and scripts using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages to improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to platform modernization efforts and recommend improvements to infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines
- Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform in production environments
- Strong experience building and managing Infrastructure as Code solutions at scale
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated software and infrastructure delivery
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, Bash , or similar programming languages
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure environments and hybrid architectures
