[Remote] Digital Delivery Smart3D (S3D) Administrator - Remote/Hybrid (LSNA-OH)

Jacobs is hiring a Digital Delivery Smart3D (S3D) Administrator to configure, maintain, and support its 3D modeling environment for engineering projects. The role focuses on pipe support and piping component development, project setup, reporting, automation, and coordination with engineering teams and offices.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of 3D Pipe Support and hangers in .Net
• Creating and maintenance of 3D Pipe Parts in .Net
• Placement of pipe supports and Components and test in the 3D Model
• Test pipe supports and pipe components in Isometrics extraction
• Collect and implement project requirements of hierarchy, naming rules, document numbering format, border file, volume naming definitions, project specific pick lists, common filters, catalog components, and surface style rules
• Coordinate Citrix server and database requirements for all 3D systems including coordination with satellite offices
• Create projects in all 3D systems. Load code lists, add standard reports and templates, upload/bulk-load catalog and reference files, develop/modify drawing templates, load project volumes, setup SPR batch processes, create project specific symbols
• Create and manage isometric configuration and drawing view styles and templates with input from engineering discipline staff
• Create department standard and project specific reports and reporting methods as needed
• Complex reporting including SQL and VB. Integrate reports into Company project tools
• Implement Rulechecker Service in SP3D including C# customization
• Create and load SP3D naming rules including customization in VB/C#
• Implement a Model Data Reuse / Model Data Transform strategy to enable duplication of design when needed
• Administer and manage clash: Customize automated allocation - Automated acceptances - Clash conditions and tolerances
• Schedule and monitor routine backups/archives

Skills

• 8+ years experience supporting Smart 3D (S3D)
• Experience with .NET Symbol Creation (Piping Parts and Support)
• Effective oral and written communication skills required
• Knowledge of S3D metadata browser, writing SQL Queries, custom commands and .Net
• Experience in Life Sciences/Chemical/Petrochemical/Manufacturing
• Familiar Citrix Deployment Process
• Troubleshooting Skills
• Self-Teach skills
• Self-Initiative
• Background in Piping Design is preferred, including an understanding of 3D piping modeling work processes and isometric generation
• Experience with SmartPlant Foundation and or other SmartPlant tools are not required but will be a plus
• Experience using Revisto will be a plus
• Experience PowerShell and CMD script are not required but will be a plus
