The role leads financial planning and processes, improves workflows and systems, ensures compliance with internal controls, and manages and mentors team members.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Financial Operations at Conexión- Grupo Ultra Laboratorios is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing daily financial and operational activities to support organizational performance
• This role leads the planning, execution, and monitoring of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
• The Director collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize operational workflows, ensure compliance with internal controls, and improve the efficiency of financial systems
• Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, identifying trends, recommending cost-saving measures, and guiding the implementation of process improvements
• The role also involves leading and mentoring team members, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues, and maintaining high standards of internal and external customer service

Skills

• Strong Operations Management skills to oversee financial processes, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, assess risks, and support strategic decision-making
• Demonstrated Team Management experience, including mentoring, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to manage resources and support long-term financial stability
• Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, with the ability to build effective relationships and respond to stakeholder needs
• Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, accounting software) and strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of financial controls, compliance standards, and best practices in financial operations
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA)
