[Remote] Director, Social Media - Clinical/Prestige Beauty Brands

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OGAKI is hiring a Director, Social Media to lead social strategy and client relationships across its clinical and prestige skincare and SPF portfolio. The role serves as day-to-day account lead, manages an Account Executive, and partners with Creative, Project Management, and Influencer teams to deliver social programs.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously optimize brand social strategies, campaign strategies, and monthly strategies using Dash Social analytics
• Manage and develop an Account Executive, giving direction and feedback on creative briefs and reporting
• Lead client calls
• Support Account Executive with day-to-day client communications, stepping in where needed
• Partner with Project Management and Creative to ensure content calendars and assets ladder up to strategy
• Review and approve all content and captions against briefs, brand guidelines, and claims requirements
• Oversee community management to ensure guidelines are met and that community conversations and questions are incorporated into the strategy
• Partner with the Influencer team to plan creator assets and collaboration posts into the social calendar
• Stay ahead of platform updates, social formats, beauty trends, and competitor activity

Skills

• 7–10 years of agency social media experience, including clinical or derm-adjacent skincare brands
• Working knowledge of skincare and SPF claims considerations in social and creator content
• A deep understanding of the prestige beauty landscape
• Strong ability to analyze social performance and turn insights into action
• Experience developing social creative and collaborating closely with creative teams
• Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, and social planning and reporting tools (Dash Social preferred)
• Dash Social preferred
• Familiarity with Figma for reviewing assets for approval
