Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Digital Defenders Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating youth about internet safety. The Educational Development Intern will develop age-appropriate educational content and programming for youth-focused initiatives, while researching digital safety topics and assisting with workshops and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Developing educational lessons and activities for different age groups and learning environments
- Translating complex digital safety concepts into age-appropriate and engaging content
- Creating discussion questions, scenarios, worksheets, quizzes, and other learning materials
- Researching topics related to cybersecurity, AI, social media, cyberbullying, and digital citizenship
- Assisting with workshop and presentation development
Skills
- Ideal candidates are currently pursuing degrees in Education, Child Development, Instructional Design, or a related field
- 5-10 hours/week
