[Remote] EHR Application I Analyst - Healthy Planet

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BJC HealthCare is hiring an EHR Application Analyst I to support Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose applications. The role assists with implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, user support, and workflow improvements for population health and care management programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and support of Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose applications
• Support population health, care management, patient outreach, and care coordination workflows
• Troubleshoot application issues and assist with identifying and implementing solutions
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and application enhancements
• Collaborate with clinical teams, business stakeholders, and IT staff to gather requirements and improve workflows
• Develop and maintain application documentation, workflow diagrams, test scripts, and support materials
• Assist with end-user training and provide ongoing application support
• Support population health reporting, registries, and data validation activities
• Follow organizational policies, information security standards, and applicable patient privacy regulations
• Participate in project meetings, change management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate
• Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications. Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications. Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks
• Assists with the design of test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes. Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing
• Assists in the evaluation of design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services or devices. Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation
• Provides first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents
• May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• Previous Epic Application Analyst experience
• Epic Healthy Planet/Compass Rose certifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years
