Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bonhill Partners is recruiting for an award-winning FX trading platform provider. The Electronic Trading Support Analyst supports critical trading infrastructure by investigating technical issues, maintaining platform reliability, and providing customer support across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve technical issues across real-time electronic trading platforms
- Troubleshoot FIX protocol connectivity, message flows, and trading system issues
- Perform detailed log analysis, identify errors, and conduct root-cause investigations
- Use Python or Bash scripting to automate tasks, analyse logs, and improve troubleshooting efficiency
- Support RHEL/Linux environments, including command-line operations, process management, and system-level troubleshooting
- Manage customer incidents and support tickets through to resolution, providing regular updates and escalating where required
- Maintain clear technical documentation and structured handovers across global support teams
- Identify opportunities to improve support processes, platform reliability, and the overall customer experience
Skills
- Hands-on experience supporting FIX connectivity, message flows, and real-time trading systems
- Strong log investigation skills, error identification, root-cause analysis, and configuration file management
- Practical scripting experience for automation, log analysis, and technical troubleshooting
- Strong command-line knowledge, including log analysis, process management, file system navigation, and system-level troubleshooting
- At least 2 years' experience in technical support, production support, or a customer-facing technical role, with strong incident management and communication skills
- Ability to manage tickets, communicate updates, escalate issues, and drive problems through to resolution
- A proactive approach, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently across global time zones
- Experience supporting FX trading platforms or financial market technology
- Familiarity with real-time trading environments and follow-the-sun support models
