Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cybage Software is seeking an Engagement Manager for its healthcare and life sciences practice. The role builds senior client relationships, shapes technology solutions with internal teams, and grows existing engagements while monitoring client satisfaction and engagement health.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage senior-level relationships within HCLS clients
- Understand client priorities and translate business and regulatory needs into technology solutions
- Work with sales, pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery leaders to shape solutions, proposals, RFP responses, and SOWs
- Lead client conversations on cloud, data and analytics, AI/ML, interoperability, , modernization and tech-debt
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive account growth plans
- Partner with delivery teams to stay close to engagement health, client satisfaction, and escalations, without owning day-to-day delivery
- Track industry and regulatory trends (HIPAA, GxP, FDA, interoperability mandates) and bring relevant ideas to clients
- Represent the practice in client meetings, industry events, and executive briefings
- Frequent travel to client offices as EM
Skills
- 12-16 years in HealthIT services/consulting, with a strong mix of technology and client-facing roles
- Hands-on technology background (development, architecture, data/analytics) with the ability to hold credible technical discussions
- Strong HCLS domain knowledge, such as PMIS, EHR/EMR, interoperability (HL7, FHIR, EDI, X12), CMS rules, claims, clinical trials, drug discovery, pharmacovigilance, or regulated systems
- Proven experience shaping solutions, pricing models, and responding to RFPs
- Confident executive presence, with clear written and verbal communication with US clients
- Track record of growing accounts and earning trust with senior stakeholders
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, AWS, Azure, GCP, Salesforce Health Cloud, or similar platforms
- Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases in healthcare or life sciences
- Existing relationships with US HCLS clients
