Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Colossus Technologies Group is partnering with an established software company to hire an Engineering Manager. The role leads engineering talent and technical direction for SaaS, e-commerce, and consumer-facing applications, while contributing hands-on development and expanding the use of AI tools and automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of engineers through coaching and performance management
- Partner with product managers to set priorities, plan initiatives, and deliver new features
- Guide architecture and development using C#, Azure, React, and SQL Server
- Build scalable, reliable systems and improve engineering processes and standards
- Stay close to technical execution, contributing code and removing blockers as needed
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and align delivery with business needs
Skills
- Extensive software engineering experience, ideally 10+ years, including 2+ years of technical leadership and people management
- Strong knowledge of C#, Azure, React, and SQL Server
- Experience delivering SaaS platforms, e-commerce products, or consumer-facing web applications and APIs
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Ability to develop engineers while guiding technical decisions and project delivery
- Interest in applying AI development tools to improve engineering productivity
