The Winners Circle Group seeks an entry-level financial planner to support clients in understanding their finances, setting goals, and developing basic personal financial plans. The part-time, remote contract role includes supporting retirement planning, budgeting, savings, and debt management, while maintaining client records and collaborating with senior planners.
Responsibilities
- In this position, the planner will assist clients in understanding their current financial situation, gathering relevant financial information, and identifying short- and long-term goals
- Day-to-day tasks include supporting the development of basic personal financial plans, contributing to retirement planning discussions, and helping clients build budgets, savings strategies, and debt management plans
- The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, using financial planning tools and software, and collaborating with senior planners to refine recommendations and ensure high-quality service
Skills
- Demonstrated interest or foundational knowledge in Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning
- Awareness of Certified Financial Planner standards or credentials, or willingness to pursue CFP-related education
- Exposure to or interest in Retirement Planning concepts and strategies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms
- Comfort with remote work, digital collaboration tools, and maintaining client confidentiality
- Has Life, Health or Securities Licenses (or willing to obtain within first 14 days)
- Basic understanding of Finance principles, including budgeting, savings, and debt management
- Relevant coursework or degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
