[Remote] Environmental Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Verdantas LLC is hiring an Environmental Project Manager to manage environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping through completion. The role oversees environmental site assessments, sampling, technical reporting, regulatory approvals, client relationships, staff mentorship, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance
• Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
• Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling
• Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals
• Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff
• Support business development and proposal efforts

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards
• Knowledge of civil engineering construction projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution
• Knowledge of Ohio VAP, and BUSTR with an understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Preference with orphan well experience
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
