Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kalshi is hiring for its Finance Operations team to account for funds moving through its exchange, clearing organization, and connected systems. The role monitors transactions, produces daily financial reports, improves operational processes, analyzes financial data, and supports regulatory compliance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Transaction Monitoring: Oversee a high volume of financial transactions, tracking money inflows and outflows from various sources
- Daily Snapshot: Generate daily reports to provide a snapshot of financial activity, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency
- Operational Excellence: Continuously monitor and optimize financial processes to guarantee smooth operations and adherence to financial regulations
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Provide valuable insights to support decision-making
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations that may impact our operations
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and achieve operational excellence
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in a financial exchange, clearing organization or payment processing company with a high transaction volume
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit paired with a team mindset
- A Master's degree is a plus
- Ideally 3+ years of experience post grad
- Those specific to financial exchanges, clearing organizations and FCMs are a plus
- NetSuite experience is a plus
