[Remote] Financial Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Orange Logic is hiring a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The role develops financial models and analyzes company-wide financial and SaaS metrics to provide accurate forecasts and actionable insights for business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated budgets for US and foreign entities
• Prepare rolling financial forecasts
• Prepare consolidated financial statements with foreign currency translation
• Consolidated financial modeling and reporting
• Assist with management reporting and executive presentations
• Prepare analyses of company wide CARR movement
• Establish, monitor and analyze SaaS and financial KPIs
• Prepare cash forecasts
• Perform variance analysis on cash and financial budget
• Ensure alignment between financial reporting, revenue recognition, and SaaS metrics
• Ensure data accuracy and adherence to internal controls and policies
• Support ad-hoc and special requests as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• SaaS / Software industry experience required
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, etc.)
• A good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continual improvement
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal) with an ability to translate complicated financial data to non-financial people
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
• Self-starter capable of identifying inefficiencies, proposing and implementing scalable solutions
