The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting support, variance analysis, and coordination of reporting inputs in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial spreadsheets and ensure formulas reference current inputs
- Prepare simple variance explanations for review by finance colleagues
- Organize financial records and verify that totals reconcile
- Identify missing inputs and raise questions about unusual figures
- Summarize cost and revenue trends using approved financial data
- Coordinate reporting inputs and clarify deadlines with stakeholders
- Check financial schedules for completeness and arithmetic accuracy
Skills
- Strong judgment when handling confidential financial information
- Foundational understanding of budgets, financial statements, and variances
- Ability to work with established procedures and review notes
- Ability to ask questions when financial assumptions are unclear
- Organized approach to deadlines and document management
