[Remote] Financial Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MetLife seeks a Financial Consultant to provide day-to-day financial support, billing administration, remittance management, and customer account oversight for Regional Market clients in its U.S. Group Benefits business. The role manages a designated block of customer accounts, prepares financial reports, and partners with stakeholders to resolve billing challenges and support customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management and day to day for all financial support for billing and remittance on customer accounts
• Create various financial reports including monthly revenue projections, billing data, and templates along with audit and reconciliation reports
• Manage all financial billing and remittance for your designated block of business - an average of 200 customer accounts
• Develop relationships both internal and external to help support your block of business
• Coordinate customer inquiries and management of all customer billing related need

Skills

• BS/BA degree and 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously or with others and effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
• Accounting/math problem solving skills, including attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decisiveness
• Strong project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decisiveness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software and AI-enabled tools
• Applicants and employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Firm knowledge of group products, services, systems, and ability to apply analytical skills to the interaction of these products, services and systems
• General understanding of U.S. economy and employee benefits industry
