The Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Senior Manager will lead tax compliance, advisory, strategic planning, and cross-border engagements while developing client relationships and coaching high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading tax compliance and advisory projects for financial services clients, focusing on real estate
- Advising clients on local and international tax obligations and structuring to optimize business outcomes
- Managing cross-border tax engagements and navigating complex regulatory environments
- Developing and implementing strategic tax planning initiatives to address client needs
- Drafting and reviewing tax documents, confirming accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Analyzing financial statements and trends to provide insights and recommendations for tax strategies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth
- Collaborating with diverse teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions and drive project success
- Contributing to the development of innovative tax services and solutions within the asset and wealth management sector
Skills
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Leveraging advanced analytical thinking in tax compliance
- Demonstrating proficiency in corporate tax planning and strategy
- Navigating complex cross-border tax engagements effectively
- Excelling in financial statement analysis and review
- Initiating and leading strategic questioning to drive solutions
