The Founding AI Engineer will own production AI systems end-to-end, building agents, backend services, data models, and infrastructure while working directly with customers to deploy enterprise solutions and create reusable platform capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production AI agents
- Integrate enterprise APIs, databases and legacy systems
- Build data models, ontologies and context layers for agents
- Design backend services and agent infrastructure
- Own projects from customer problem through production
- Improve reliability, observability and failure recovery
- Turn customer solutions into reusable platform primitives
Skills
- Startup experience
- Production experience building AI agents
- Strong backend or ML engineering fundamentals
- Experience owning meaningful end-to-end systems
- Breadth across AI, backend, data, and infrastructure
- Strong systems design and technical judgement
- Comfort working directly with customers
