[Remote] Foward Deployed Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. nCare is building healthcare technology to improve care delivery, patient engagement, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The Forward Deployed Engineer works directly with clinicians and operations teams to identify healthcare problems, build and ship AI-forward software, and improve products based on user feedback.

Responsibilities

• EHR and healthcare system integrations
• Clinical and operational workflows
• Patient engagement and care-management tools
• Revenue cycle and billing technology
• Healthcare data and analytics
• Workflow automation
• AI agents and AI-assisted workflows
• Interoperability using APIs, HL7, and FHIR

Skills

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Healthcare technology experience is required
• Experience building and shipping production applications
• Experience with EHR/EMR, practice-management, clinical, billing, or other healthcare systems
• Strong skills in Python, .NET/C#, React, APIs, and relational databases
• Experience with system architecture, backend services, and integrations
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Understanding of HIPAA, security, authentication, and audit logging
• Strong product mindset and ability to work directly with users
• AI experience is important
• Someone comfortable building LLM-powered workflows, AI agents, automation, and using modern AI coding tools to prototype and ship faster
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States
