[Remote] FP&A Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RESA Power is hiring an FP&A Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights, improve reporting processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts
• Support the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning
• Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards
• Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and board materials
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data across reporting systems
• Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Evaluate cost structures and profitability drivers
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance
• Partner with department leaders to support strategic initiatives
• Streamline budgeting and reporting processes
• Enhance financial models and reporting tools
• Support implementation or optimization of financial systems

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with financial systems/ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Ability to manage large datasets and automate reporting processes
