[Remote] Legal Secretary

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, has an immediate opening for a Legal Secretary in its Las Vegas office. The role requires providing administrative support to attorneys and involves working independently on various legal tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to attorneys
• Works independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation, and e-discovery

Skills

• 3+ years of legal secretary litigation experience
• Familiar with the State of Nevada and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures
• Experience filing and serving in Nevada and out-of-state courts, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Provides administrative support to attorneys
• Works independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation, and e-discovery
• Knowledge of case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Experience using Milana calendaring program is beneficial
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Highly organized, independent self-starters who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment
• Familiarity with Court of Appeals procedures
