[Remote] Managed Care Analytics Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atrium Health, part of Advocate Health, provides integrated healthcare services and value-based care. The Managed Care Analytics Intern will analyze and model commercial reimbursement using Excel, support payer contract analysis and negotiations, and assist with managed care budgeting, forecasting, and related financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities are assigned based on area of concentration
• Receives exposure to various aspects of health care from the view of the area of concentration
• The incumbent is responsible for adhering to established Service Standards

Skills

• High School Graduate
• No experience required
• Current enrollment with junior status at a regional accredited college or university
• Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree
• Grade point average of at least 2.5
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks
• Strong teamwork skills
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel
• Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm
• No sponsorship or transfer of visa for this position now or in the future
• Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Masters program within Business or Healthcare preferred
