[Remote] Marketing and Sales Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Soho Square Solutions is seeking a Marketing and Sales Data Analyst to analyze B2B marketing and sales data and generate actionable insights. The role includes reporting to leadership, integrating third-party data, automating dashboards, and answering business questions through ad hoc analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collect, collate, and analyze marketing and sales data across B2B systems
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate data-driven hypotheses
• Analyze marketing data to identify trends, valuable patterns, and relationships in large datasets, and develop actionable insights
• Prepare accurate and insightful reports for executive and leadership teams
• Communicate findings and progress to stakeholders through reports and documentation
• Collaborate with third-party data vendors to assess, access, and integrate firmographic, technographic, and demographic information
• Design and automate dashboards to improve understanding of marketing data performance
• Build and run ad hoc reports to answer business questions and support data-driven decisions

Skills

• 3–5 years of experience as a hands-on analyst in an enterprise setting, leveraging Marketo, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and similar tools
• Understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing practices, principles, KPIs, and data types in large, complex organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data platforms such as Hadoop and Databricks
• Expertise in querying, manipulating, and analyzing data using SQL and/or similar languages
• Familiarity with logical data architecture and cloud data solutions
• Proven proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong attention to detail, with expertise in data quality control and integration
• Experience with data enrichment processes and best practices
• Results-oriented, self-directed individual with multitasking, problem-solving, and independent learning abilities
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Experience working remotely or in a distributed team environment
