[Remote] Marketing Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dewberry is hiring a Marketing Manager to oversee pursuit and proposal efforts supporting its Federal Market operations. The role manages complex pursuits and proposal teams, develops client action plans, supports business development and market research, and coordinates federal marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work in tandem with business unit managers, market segment leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to determine forward action decisions, pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, manage the proposal process, and develop proposal responses
• Manage multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse service offerings
• Manage, develop, and maintain client action plans for high priority clients
• Support business development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence
• Possess the sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors, at events and business networking opportunities
• Support with the implementation of federal corporate initiatives, plans, campaigns and strategies
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration on federal marketing initiatives across the company, including marketing, operating units, business units, service lines, market segments, etc

Skills

• The ideal candidate requires a marketing background in the architecture, engineering or construction (A/E/C) or related management consulting business
• Experience with mentoring, training, and professional development of staff is required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• At least 6 years of experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts
• Strong project management and organizational experience, including delegation skills
• Effective proposal management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills
• Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign experience

• Experience in the Federal A/E/C marketing is preferred
• Other graphics software and CRM database experience is also desired
