[Remote] Patient Financial Rep

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BayCare Health System is hiring a Patient Financial Rep to administer patient accounts, including billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications. The role documents account activity, posts payments, researches and resolves patient inquiries, and follows established policies and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration of patient accounts which includes billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications
• Documents patient account activity, posts payments, implements billing guideline changes and identifies trends at a payer specific level
• Follows all established policies, procedures, industry regulations and operational standards
• Researches, resolves and responds to patient inquiries involving accounts, payments and balances
• Follows up on Explanation of Benefits, inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent (HS/GED)
• 1 year of customer service
• Interpersonal Skills
