[Remote] Payroll-HRIS - Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is recruiting a Payroll Systems Implementation Consultant for an unnamed client. The consultant will represent the client’s HR/payroll team during its ADP-to-Paycor transformation, supporting data preparation, testing, documentation, training, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration from ADP to Paycor, representing the internal HR/payroll team throughout the implementation
• Assess and learn the existing payroll environment, processes, data structure, and integrations
• Clean, organize, validate, and structure payroll and employee data in preparation for conversion
• Help coordinate data movement and validation between ADP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Paycor
• Gather information from multiple stakeholders and sources and translate it into clear documentation and implementation requirements
• Partner with Paycor technical resources and project management teams throughout the conversion
• Manage timelines, dependencies, issues, testing, and follow-up activities to keep the project moving toward completion
• Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document results and required corrections
• Validate payroll data and processes throughout the conversion process
• Support multi-state payroll compliance across states including Texas, New Jersey, New York, Florida, Idaho, and Washington, D.C
• Develop training materials and train HR and operations teams on new processes and system functionality
• Provide additional onsite support during training, implementation, go-live, and potentially hypercare
• Balance multiple priorities and shift between hands-on payroll work, data cleanup, testing, documentation, and project management as needed

Skills

• 4+ years of progressive payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong hands-on experience with ADP
• Experience with Paycor , ideally including an ADP-to-Paycor implementation or conversion
• Previous payroll or HRIS system conversion/implementation experience
• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll and compliance
• Experience with data conversion, validation, cleanup, and reconciliation
• Hands-on UAT/testing experience
• Experience developing documentation and training end users
• Strong Excel skills
• Proven project management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive deliverables through completion
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable gathering information from different sources and creating structure where processes or documentation may not yet exist
• Ability to work independently in a lean environment with limited handholding
• Flexible, agile, and comfortable shifting priorities as implementation needs evolve
• Previous ADP-to-Paycor conversion experience
• Experience supporting payroll system implementations in a rapidly growing organization
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience supporting payroll system go-live and post-implementation hypercare
• Experience training HR, payroll, or operational teams
