Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The hiring client is seeking a Sr Databricks Platform Automation Engineer to design, implement, and support Databricks platform capabilities and automation. The role supports Databricks workload deployments and partners with cloud, security, and data engineering teams to establish scalable, secure, and governed platform standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Databricks platform capabilities, including workspace provisioning, RBAC and access management, Unity Catalog administration, cluster and compute governance, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and Databricks Asset Bundle (DAB) deployments
- Develop automation for workspace lifecycle management, user onboarding, service principals, and environment configuration
- Support deployment and operationalization of Databricks workloads, including Genie Agents, workflows, jobs, and data products
- Partner with cloud, security, and data engineering teams to establish scalable, secure, and governed platform standards
