Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IES Communications is hiring a Senior Project Manager - PMO to oversee high-value, high-risk telecommunications and infrastructure projects. The role manages project risk, financial performance, escalations, and delivery, while partnering with operations leaders and mentoring project managers.
Responsibilities
- Support and oversee large, complex projects valued at $8M+
- Lead risk management, project recovery efforts, and critical issue resolution
- Monitor financial performance, forecasting, KPIs, budgets, and profitability
- Partner with Operations leaders and Project Managers to drive successful project outcomes
- Mentor and coach Project Managers across the organization
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery
Skills
- 7+ years of project management or leadership experience
- 5+ years in telecommunications, construction, low-voltage, or a related technical industry
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects valued at $8M+
- Strong financial, scheduling, and risk management expertise
- Experience working directly with customers and General Contractors
- Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Wrike, or similar scheduling tools
- Passion for mentoring and developing other Project Managers
- English language proficiency, including the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, is required
