[Remote] Principal Business Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Principal Business Analyst for its confidential client, a global pharmaceutical company. The role provides hands-on analytical support for a SAP S/4HANA transformation project supporting Development Supply Chain, with an immediate focus on data migration, data review, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex Excel datasets supporting SAP S/4HANA clinical testing and data migration
• Clean, consolidate, structure, and simplify raw data into clear, decision-ready outputs
• Use advanced Excel formulas, lookups, comparisons, and data-management techniques to analyze information across multiple files and tables
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and review to identify missing, inconsistent, or potentially inaccurate information
• Develop summaries, trackers, and analyses highlighting key findings, exceptions, trends, and issues requiring attention
• Support S/4HANA testing activities, including data analysis, test script support, issue/defect tracking, and UAT activities as needed
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support project progress and management decision-making
• Support documentation updates, training materials, and other project activities as priorities evolve
• Collaborate with business SMEs and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve data-related issues
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities, evolving project requirements, and aggressive timelines

Skills

• Doctorate degree; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; or Associate degree with 10 years of experience; or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience and previous managerial or team/project leadership experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large and complex datasets
• Strong data-analysis and data-management skills
• Experience with Excel formulas, lookups, comparisons, data consolidation, and reconciliation
• Ability to identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data across multiple files and data sources
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable information
• Ability to learn new business processes quickly and work effectively with ambiguity
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced transformation environment
• SAP experience, particularly SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation
• Data migration or data conversion experience
• Testing, UAT, test script, or defect-tracking experience
• Supply Chain experience, particularly:
• Clinical Supply Chain
• Plan-to-Stock
• Order-to-Cash
• Supply/demand planning
• Customer service/order management
• Manufacturing
• Distribution
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP or business transformation projects
