[Remote] Procurement Operations Manager- Raws

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mars is hiring a Procurement Operations Manager- Raws to lead categories and a team in creating, implementing, and maintaining global inbound supply chains that support manufacturing reliability. The role focuses on reliable inbound networks, category management, sourcing, risk mitigation, inventory, and materials management.

Responsibilities

• You will lead categories and a team of associates in the creation, implementation and maintenance of global inbound supply chains to enable manufacturing reliability
• You’ll champion high performing team behaviors and lead a team in applying supply chain tools and processes to create a lean, agile, and reliable inbound network
• You will recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, inventory management practices, and continuous improvement programs
• Responsible for managing high impact categories to supply chain
• Implementing sourcing strategies, while in parallel supporting capital reduction initiatives
• Provide coaching and development support for a team of 1-2 indirect reports
• Develop and perform materials management strategies that balance service levels with inventory and obsolescence minimization

Skills

• 5 years of procurement &/or supply chain experience
• In depth understanding of the supply chain and supplier relationship management
• Bachelors degree at a minimum
