[Remote] Project Manager - Rebar

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. White Cap is hiring a Project Manager - Rebar to oversee rebar projects from setup through completion. The role manages contracts and coordinates project detailing, scheduling, delivery, costs, customer communication, and resolution of project issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide total contract management of each project assigned, including coordination of the detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs of products and services
• Oversee the customer and project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project and adapt schedules and work tasks accordingly
• Communicate with customers regarding project details involving detailing, fabrication and delivery issues
• Review rebar shop drawings and direct the revision of drawings as needed
• Schedule the detailing and delivery of required products and services with the contractor, detailers, and production team
• Answer customer questions related to assigned projects and resolve any problems that may occur
• Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the support of the organization

Skills

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
• Certification is required in some areas
• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineer, Construction Management, related degree and/or equivalent work experience
• 2 + years of project management experience and 1 + year of construction project management experience
• Basic knowledge of AutoCad or MicroStation
• Ability to read & understand structural & architectural drawings
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills combined with the ability to meet deadlines and mult-task in fast-paced environment
