Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect for a mission-critical web application development team. The role leads hands-on Salesforce platform enhancements, custom integrations, and architectural decisions across CRM, Knowledge Management, and Public Portals, translating client needs into secure, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Develop REST APIs and custom web services to integrate Salesforce with core back-office systems
- Configure Salesforce objects, custom fields, page layouts, flows, and validation rules following platform best practices
- Lead peer code reviews, assist with automated and manual testing, and deliver system documentation
- Provide post-deployment support and knowledge transfer to operational teams
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive hands-on Salesforce technical development and architectural experience
- Active Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, App Builder, and Administrator
- Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and API integration development
- Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start
- Expertise in web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and the Salesforce Lightning Design System
- Background supporting federal or public sector digital transformation programs
- Demonstrated experience handling complex data migrations and enterprise integrations
