Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AVB Inc. is seeking a Python/JavaScript Full Stack Developer to enhance an existing open-source product and build scalable solutions for client technology needs. The role works with cross-functional developers, Product Owners, and QA engineers on requirements, implementation, and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Working with a team of US and off-shore developers to add enhancements to an existing open-source product
- Work with JavaScript on the front-end, Python on the backend, and a Postgres database
- Work with the Product Owners and QA engineers to solidify requirements before starting to code
- Code-review others code
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong background in JavaScript, Python, HTML and CSS skills
- Comfortable with SQL
- Knowledge of optimized web server configurations and experience scaling web applications
- Willingness to learn and great communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with an offshore team
- 2 years of experience working with Python and JavaScript
