Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Talentmatics is seeking a Process Data Analyst to monitor the health and performance of rotating equipment used in offshore drilling operations. The role analyzes operational data, identifies abnormal trends and potential failures, and supports proactive maintenance decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze equipment data, including temperature, pressure, flow, speed, torque, power, and lubrication parameters
- Identify abnormal operating patterns and potential equipment failures
- Work with SCADA systems and industrial historians to analyze real-time and historical data
- Monitor rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, and turbines
- Investigate anomalies and recommend appropriate maintenance actions
- Prepare technical diagnostic reports and collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams
- Use vibration data as a supporting tool to validate findings
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment, reliability engineering, condition monitoring, or industrial process data analysis
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI System, Wonderware, Ignition, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment performance
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience in offshore drilling, oil & gas, or marine environments is highly preferred
