[Remote] Senior Product Manager, Infrastructure

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lawrence Harvey is recruiting for a lead product role at an unnamed company. The role owns product strategy across a data platform, including its roadmap, pricing, developer experience, customer engagement, and launches.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap across streaming, historical data, RPC, APIs, webhooks and developer tooling
• Spend real time with technical customers to learn their architectures and where the product fits or falls short
• Work hands-on: build prototypes and example integrations, reproduce customer issues, and contribute code when that's the fastest path
• Define product guarantees (delivery semantics, ordering, SLAs) and the trade-offs between performance, cost and simplicity
• Own pricing and packaging, including usage-based models and enterprise deals
• Write specs and decision memos that give senior engineers clear context without dictating implementation
• Run launches end to end, including docs, migration guides and sensitive customer communications
• Track adoption, usage, churn, reliability and revenue
• Follow the competitive landscape and turn it into positioning and build/kill decisions

Skills

• 5+ years of product management on technical, developer-facing products (APIs, data infrastructure, streaming, market data or similar)
• Real coding ability
• An engineer-turned-PM background is ideal
• JavaScript, Python or Go are a plus
• A solid grasp of distributed systems trade-offs such as throughput, backpressure and delivery guarantees
• Professional crypto experience, with an understanding of on-chain data, wallets and transactions
• Experience serving demanding technical customers
• Product outcomes you can point to, such as adoption, revenue or retention
• Strong pricing instincts for usage-based infrastructure
• Excellent async written communication, and comfort being the company's primary product voice
• Ideally in trading or fintech
