The role administers InterSystems HealthShare and IRIS for Health environments, develops and troubleshoots HL7/FHIR integrations, and manages healthcare APIs using InterSystems API Manager and Kong Gateway. It also supports cloud deployments, DevOps automation, security, compliance, monitoring, and high-availability integration platforms.
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and upgrade of InterSystems HealthShare and InterSystems IRIS for Health
- Namespace, database, and interoperability production management
- Managing Health Connect / Ensemble production
- FHIR integrations
- Interface monitoring and troubleshooting
- Message routing, transformation, and DTL/BPL development
- Business Services, Processes, and Operations configuration
- SSL/TLS certificate management
- Audit logging and healthcare compliance support (HIPAA)
- Backup, disaster recovery, and mirror configuration
- Linux administration
- Installation and configuration of InterSystems API Manager
- Understanding IAM architecture powered by Kong Gateway
- Managing IAM services, routes, consumers, and plugins
- Integrating IAM with HealthShare and IRIS APIs
- API traffic governance and monitoring
- Securing FHIR and REST endpoints
- Developer portal configuration
- API authentication and authorization policies
- AWS / Azure / GCP deployments
- Terraform or infrastructure-as-code
