A-Line Staffing Solutions is recruiting for an unnamed large enterprise organization seeking a Junior Accountant / Accounting Coordinator. The role supports payroll accounting, financial reconciliations, General Ledger accuracy, and U.S. and international payroll tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile weekly and biweekly payroll transactions using Oracle systems and ADP Celergo
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate General Ledger postings
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including bank accounts and accrued payroll accounts
• Research discrepancies and prepare necessary journal entries
• Support employee tax setup, withholding updates, and payroll tax compliance
• Reconcile payroll invoices against daily funding and coordinate with ADP to resolve variances
• Assist with payroll tax inquiries involving U.S. and international jurisdictions, including Canada, Brazil, Spain, and Portugal
• Complete quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting and reconciliation activities
• Collaborate with Payroll, IT, Treasury, Accounts Payable, and internal controls teams
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits

Skills

• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience in a corporate or similar environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and General Ledger activities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll, ADP Celergo, or JD Edwards General Ledger
• Payroll accounting or payroll tax reconciliation experience
• Familiarity with U.S. federal and state payroll tax requirements
• Exposure to international payroll tax compliance
• Experience working with cross-functional finance and payroll teams
