[Remote] Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Senior Accountant. The role supports month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting process improvements, while contributing to audits and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Senior Accountant will support month-end close and financial reporting activities
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
• Analyze general ledger activity and resolve account discrepancies
• Assist with accounting process improvements and workflow efficiencies
• Support audit, tax, and other corporate accounting initiatives
• As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with cross-functional business partners and finance leadership
• Contribute to ongoing systems and process transformation efforts

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience
• Experience in software, technology, SaaS, subscription-based, or recurring revenue environments is a plus
• Deferred revenue exposure is highly desirable
