Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Marathon TS is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer on a contract basis to design and build next-generation AI platforms and tools. The role involves developing full-stack applications, backend automations, APIs, event-driven architectures, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and AI integrations for production systems.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack applications targeting web and desktop environments using modern frameworks and tools
- Develop backend automation systems and APIs that support AI workflows at scale
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using message queues and event buses
- Manage infrastructure as code using AWS and Cloudflare, with a focus on DevOps best practices
- Integrate AI engineering tools and frameworks into TWCo product offerings
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Optimize data persistence and caching layers using Redis and PostgreSQL
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for production applications
- Strong understanding of system architecture
- Demonstrated experience with desktop frameworks (Tauri, Electrobun)
- Solid Python skills for backend development and scripting
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Cloudflare infrastructure as code
- Proven ability to design and build robust APIs
- Experience implementing message queue and event bus systems
- Proficiency with React and Next.js for frontend development
- Proficiency with Redis and PostgreSQL
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs
- Hands-on experience with LightLLM
- Track record shipping AI-integrated applications
