  • Automate infrastructure and deployments. Define and manage environments with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, SAM, or Terraform) and build CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe, and repeatable releases
  • Champion security, reliability, and observability. Apply AWS Well-Architected principles, IAM least privilege, encryption, and secrets management, and instrument systems with CloudWatch, X-Ray, and structured logging to ensure production-grade quality
  • Optimize performance and cost. Tune serverless workloads for latency, concurrency, and cost, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement after go-live
  • Partner with clients and internal teams. Participate in discovery and design sessions, translate requirements into technical solutions, provide accurate estimates, and communicate progress and risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor engineers. Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical direction, and contribute reusable patterns, accelerators, and engineering standards to the practice
  • Integrate with enterprise ecosystems. Connect AWS solutions with third-party and enterprise platforms such as CRM, ticketing, and contact center systems, including Amazon Connect where applicable

  • Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and S3
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Node.js/TypeScript, with a proven track record of designing and building scalable APIs and event-driven architectures
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, SAM, or Terraform) and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Strong understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM, Cognito, KMS, Secrets Manager, and network security fundamentals
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing in distributed systems using CloudWatch, X-Ray, or similar tools
  • Solid grasp of software design principles, testing strategies, and performance optimization in cloud-native environments
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client locations
  • AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) are a strong asset
  • Nice to have: experience with Amazon Connect, contact center solutions, or conversational AI services such as Amazon Lex, Amazon Bedrock, or Amazon Q
