The role focuses on database architecture, schema conversion, replication, performance optimization, data pipelines, high availability, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of legacy database environments to a cloud-based platform
- Design and optimize database structures specific to the new platform
- Configure data capture between cloud and local environments
- Develop synchronization and replication solutions
- Support data pipelines and reporting workloads
- Design high availability and disaster recovery environments
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions
- Convert legacy schemas to cloud-based schemas
- Design and optimize database structures for specific platform use
- Build synchronization and replication solutions

- Perform capacity planning and cost optimization
Skills
