Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akliz is a game server hosting company building its own dashboard and tools. The Frontend Engineer will develop features for the dashboard and marketing sites, collaborating with the frontend team through planning, code review, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- You'll work on our dashboard and marketing sites alongside our small frontend team. We all work together on the same priorities in sprints using a design-driven process. You'll take real ownership of features from planning through code review and help ship things that gamers actually want to use
Skills
- 5+ years of frontend web development experience
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
- Strong at consuming REST APIs, adapting and shaping data, handling loading and error states, and getting that data into components and state
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Experience with code review and pull request workflows on a team
- Ability to gather requirements from designs and implement them on the web
- High level of communication. We build as a team, not in isolated units
- Proficiency with version control software like git
- Experience with Storybook and turning Figma designs into a component library
- Docker
- Libraries such as shadcn/ui, SWR, MSW, or faker.js
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
- Hobby coding projects that demonstrate your passion for solving problems
- Hosting and playing on your own game servers and a good history of playing lots of games
