Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Healthcare IT Leaders is hiring a Senior Healthcare AI Scientist for a six-month contract. The role leads healthcare data science work to improve outcomes and financial performance by building and evaluating predictive models, setting technical standards, and mentoring junior data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment and evaluation of algorithms and predictive models across multiple business units
- Apply machine learning techniques and statistical tests to healthcare analytics problems
- Set best practices for version control, testing and containerization
- Mentor junior data scientists on methodology and model interpretation
- Scope projects with business partners and present findings to executive audiences
- Oversee the data pipeline from acquisition to analytics, including data quality and governance
Skills
- 5 years of data science or analytics experience in healthcare is required
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field
- Advanced Python and SQL, plus TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience deploying and monitoring production AI or machine learning solutions
- Cloud AI platform and MLOps or LLMOps experience
- Master's
- Generative AI, large language model or conversational AI evaluation, including voice agents
