Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The hiring company is confidential. The Senior Mobile DevOps Engineer will build and maintain infrastructure supporting Android and iOS development, integration, build automation, and distribution.
Responsibilities
- The engineer will design, build, configure, and maintain software development infrastructure supporting Android and iOS mobile application development, integration, build automation, and distribution
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience deploying and configuring software configuration management, build, and continuous integration tools
- Hands-on experience configuring and automating builds for Android and/or iOS mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of Git-based source control, branching strategies, and build/release processes
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, Bash, Swift, or similar languages
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development, build automation, and software release processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience configuring Gradle builds for Android applications
- Experience configuring Xcode command-line builds for iOS applications
- Experience administering Git repositories and Bitbucket
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact repository tools
- Strong Linux and/or macOS command-line skills; system administration experience is a plus
- Experience with Jenkins build and packaging systems
- Familiarity with Grafana, Datadog, or Kibana
- 10+ years of overall IT experience preferred
- Strong hands-on mobile DevOps and build/release automation background
- Experience supporting mobile application development and distribution
