[Remote] Senior Privacy Consultant - Virtual

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alight Solutions is hiring a Senior Privacy Consultant to support its global privacy program. The role focuses on third-party privacy risk reviews, Records of Processing Activities, management of the Global Privacy Office mailbox, and broader privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head of Privacy and other privacy team members in managing Alight’s global privacy program
• Managing 3rd party vendor privacy risk management assessments
• Conducting Record of Processing Activities
• Managing the global privacy office mailbox. Assisting with resolution of privacy questions and complaints; research root cause and document the responses according to policy/procedure and applicable regulations
• Supporting the implementation of a global privacy controls framework, and monitoring and testing of those controls
• Participating in the development, implementation, and coordinating of organizational records management practices and procedures
• Providing support for the various activities of the global privacy program, such as Privacy Impact Assessments, reporting, policy and process generation, and overall privacy championing
• Working collaboratively with a broad range of people and functions throughout the organization to develop and maintain strong working relationships across all functional areas to facilitate a partnering-based approach

Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ of experience dedicated to privacy, data security and/or compliance
• Possess an IAPP certification or be willing to obtain one within six months of employment
• Possess knowledge of international, federal, and state laws and regulations regarding privacy and data security, including CCPA, HIPAA, and GDPR
• Be a US Citizens
• Demonstrate experience with privacy, data governance, and service management platforms, such as OneTrust, Ketch, Viso, and ServiceNow
• Be a team player and able to build relationships, both internally and externally, on a global scale
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work, collaborate with others, and consistently attend to important details
• Demonstrates sound professional judgment, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to quality
