[Remote] Senior Quality Data Analyst - Healthcare Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. City of Hope is hiring a Senior Quality Data Analyst to support its Quality, Risk and Regulatory Management team. The role transforms healthcare data into reports, dashboards, and actionable insights that support clinical and operational decisions, patient care, quality outcomes, and organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple systems into the enterprise data warehouse
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand business needs and deliver reporting solutions
• Perform data modeling, mapping, and visualization for quality improvement initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations through clear, compelling visual and written communication
• Support data governance, data quality, and performance improvement initiatives
• Leverage benchmarking tools (e.g., Vizient and external datasets) to evaluate performance
• Design and optimize SQL queries, tables, views, and stored procedures

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, informatics, or related field
• Strong SQL expertise including database design, querying, and data manipulation
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and data analysis tools
• Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects, Statit)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences
• Experience with data warehousing, reporting systems, and performance improvement initiatives
• Experience working with clinical data and healthcare systems preferred
