Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SoTalent is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to lead enterprise data and analytics platform initiatives. The role translates business requirements into technical solutions and supports platform strategy, cloud and big data solutions, Agile delivery, system performance, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support the strategy, planning, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics technologies
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define platform roadmaps and priorities
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve analytics capabilities
- Contribute to long-term architecture and modernization initiatives
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements
- Translate business objectives into system specifications and implementation plans
- Develop functional and non-functional requirements
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure solutions align with business goals and technology standards
- Support implementation and optimization of data management and analytics platforms
- Facilitate delivery of solutions supporting:
- Business Intelligence
- Reporting
- Big Data Analytics
- Data Integration
- Data Warehousing
- Advanced Analytics
- Ensure data platforms meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements
- Assist in the design and implementation of cloud-based data solutions
- Support cloud infrastructure and platform technologies
- Evaluate cloud services and integration approaches
- Promote scalable and secure cloud architecture practices
- Support migration and modernization initiatives
- Analyze system capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop solution designs supporting business and operational requirements
- Evaluate integration requirements and service-oriented architectures
- Recommend process improvements and technology enhancements
- Support system configuration and implementation efforts
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including:
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Refinement
- Daily Standups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams
- Support delivery throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ensure solutions are delivered according to project requirements and timelines
- Monitor platform health, capacity, and system performance
- Analyze system behavior and identify bottlenecks
- Recommend and implement performance improvements
- Support system reliability, availability, and scalability initiatives
- Ensure optimal utilization of data platform resources
- Work closely with:

- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Present recommendations and technical findings clearly and effectively

- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
- Promote continuous improvement across systems and processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in: • Computer Science • Information Systems • Information Technology • Data Analytics • Related discipline • OR • Equivalent combination of technical certifications and professional experience
- Minimum 4 years of IT experience
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, analytics platforms, or data technologies
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
